Wellington Boot Outline for Colouring-in
Here's a fun activity for schools - colour in the welly outline and then hang "boot art" on the wall in the classroom. Teachers have sent us photos of their classrooms. Please send us yours - or post them in the comments below.
We have 6 different styles of boot stencils on this site- see below.
This is a template or stencil of a Wellington boot. There are a few ways you could use this stencil.
The first idea is to copy and paste it into MSPAINT/Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro on your PC and colour in the boot on your computer.
The second idea is to print the boot stencil and colour-in the boot with colour pencils, paints, or crayons.

The Boot Kidz
The Boot Kidz are three characters designed by Karen Henry. Sold and manufactured by Bootkidz Ltd, a London furniture design company based near Wimbledon. Each colourful Boot Kidz coat stand has funky Wellington Boots made of concrete and bolted onto a round grey MDF base.
If you would like to include The Boot Kidz in a design article, here are some high-resolution photos. Please send us a link to the article:
Karen Henry is a successful British entrepreneur and creative director and owner of Bootkidz Ltd - a small design business based in London, England. She was born in Redcar in Yorkshire, Middlesbrough in 1964.
Karen lives in Wimbledon in London and when she is not working, enjoys walks around Wimbledon Park and playing tennis at the Wimbledon Tennis courts.
Karen Henry successfully completed her HND in Furniture Design and Realisation, at London Metropolitan University in the Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media and Design.
Karen learned practical skills for designing and building furniture using a broad range of materials - studying the history, machine processes, CAD (Computer Aided Design), development and prototyping of ideas, materials manipulation, professional design, project planning and principles of design. It included contemporary manufacturing methods and those of the traditional designer-maker.
Karen Henry designed the Boot Kidz in 2005 as a collection of cartoon-like characters with concrete ‘wellie’ boots - combining metalwork, materials, and design into a unique furniture design product:
The mannequin prototypes were built in the Universities workshop over a period of three months.
Karen is also interested in art and has undertaken a number of art classes at City Lit University in London, including:
